Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all teams and players entering the Club Championship (“Tournament”) organised by Creator Golf Events LTD (“the Organiser”).

By registering for and participating in the Tournament, all players confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Tournament Format & Dates

1.1 The Tournament is conducted in a competitive format based on the Rules of Golf published by the R&A.
1.2 The Tournament may include qualifying matchplay rounds, regional finals, and a grand final the details of which will be published by Organiser on its website and included within the Tournament Rules.

1.3 Participants acknowledge and agree that they will be competing against other teams, including teams they do not know, for progression to a regional final and/or grand final.
1.4 Participants confirm that they understand and accept the published Tournament format, key dates, and time requirements, and that availability is required to complete matches within the specified windows.
1.5 All participants must comply with the official Tournament rules at all times. These rules will be published on the Organiser’s website and may be updated from time to time.
1.6 Failure to comply with the Tournament rules or these Terms may result in disqualification or removal from the Tournament at the Organiser’s sole discretion.

1.7 Interpretation and enforcement of Tournament Rules shall be at the discretion and final decision of the Organiser at all times.

2. Organising Matches & Player Conduct

2.1 During the matchplay phase, teams are responsible for communicating directly with opposing teams to organise matches. By entering the tournament all players agree to share their personal data (name, phone number, email address, golf club name, handicap ID numbers and other relevant information) with other competing teams, via the CGC platform, for the purposes of the tournament and specifically matching other teams with each other so they can organise and complete their matches together,
2.2 Teams must act reasonably and respectfully when communicating with other competitors.
2.3 Each team must propose a minimum of three (3) reasonable dates and times for each match to facilitate scheduling.
2.4 Teams are expected to make reasonable efforts to accommodate the availability and needs of opposing teams where possible.
2.5 If, in the Organiser’s reasonable opinion, a team’s behaviour in arranging matches is deemed uncooperative, unreasonable, or disruptive, the Organiser reserves the right to remove that team from the Tournament.

Where possible it is encouraged that during qualifying rounds, Home teams assist with obtaining course courtesy for visitors, preferential green fee rates or even splitting green fees where appropriate

3. Costs & Expenses

3.1 Teams are responsible for all costs associated with participating in qualifying and matchplay rounds, including but not limited to:

  • Green fees
  • Travel expenses if required 
  • Accommodation if required 
  • Any other incidental costs

3.2 If a team is invited to participate in a regional final event, green fees for that event will be covered by the Organiser. Travel, accommodation, and other expenses are not included unless explicitly stated otherwise.

3.3 If a team is invited to participate in the grand final, the majority of costs may be covered, which may include travel costs, accommodation, and green fees. A full and final list of included expenses will be communicated separately in writing. Any reimbursements for airfare (economy class only) will be limited to GBP 2,000 per team. 

4. What’s Included in Entry

4.1 Tournament entry includes participation for:

  • Two (2) registered players; and
  • Any reserved players as permitted under the Tournament rules, together forming one team.

4.2 Entry includes participation in the Tournament only.
4.3 Any additional benefits, services, or inclusions will be communicated separately by the Organiser and are not guaranteed unless explicitly stated.

4.4 CGC partner creators will be taking part &  competing in the tournament (in the matchplay rounds as well as at regional & grand final events, however CGC can not guarantee any direct opportunity to meet, play with or against creators as part of entry. These opportunities will be down to regional criteria, tournament performance and availability of creators. 

5. Entry Fees

5.1 To participate, all teams must pay the applicable team entry fee in full by the stated deadline.
5.2 All entry fees are non-refundable, regardless of withdrawal, disqualification, scheduling issues, or failure to progress in the Tournament.
5.3 Entries are transferable only with prior written approval from the Organiser. Any sale or transfer of an entry without approval may result in disqualification.

6. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

6.1 Participation in the Tournament is at the players’ own risk.
6.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organiser accepts no responsibility or liability for any injury, illness, death, loss, damage, or expense suffered by any participant or third party arising from or in connection with participation in the Tournament.
6.3 Participants are responsible for ensuring they are medically and physically fit to compete.

6.4 Participants will indemnify Organiser in relation to any claims, losses or damages caused by Participant's negligent or deliberate acts which cause damage or harm to other participants, the general public or any loss or damage to property of any person arising from Participant’s participation in the Tournament.  

6.5 Players aged 16 and older are eligible to participate in the tournament but if under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian (who is also participating in the tournament on the same team) at all times and are the full responsibility of the parent or guardian. The legal parent or guardian of any participant under the age of 18 accepts full responsibility for the conduct, safety, and supervision of that participant at all times during the tournament, including on-course play, practice areas, and any associated event activities.

7. Rights in the Tournament and promotional rights

7.1 The Organiser owns all right in the Tournament and all copyright in all materials created for or in connection with the Tournament

7.2 All Participants and Teams agree to be filmed and photographed at all times when participating in the Tournament and waive all commercial and moral rights to their appearance in any and all content and or media produced from any part of the event by the Organiser.

7.3 Participants are encouraged to promote their participation in the Tournament via their own social media channels but agree not to claim any right in or ownership over the Tournament or any images or materials created by Organiser or anyone on Organisers behalf.

7.4 Participants hereby grant Organiser a worldwide royalty free license to use any film, text or images posted on any Participant social media channel in Organisers own channels and promotional activities.

7.5 Participants will comply with the reasonable requests of the Organiser to appear in press and promotional meetings and activities. This may include giving interviews alongside team members and Golf content creators. These appearances are in consideration of the chance to win prizes on offer generally to all Participants and will not be separately remunerated.

8. Tournament Changes & Organiser Rights

8.1 The Organiser reserves the right to amend, reschedule, suspend, or cancel the Tournament, or any part of it, at any time in order to maintain operational flexibility or for reasons beyond its control.
8.2 Any changes will be communicated via the Organiser’s website or directly to registered participants where reasonably practicable.
8.3 The Organiser’s decisions regarding Tournament administration, rule interpretation, and disputes are final.

8.4 The organiser reserves the right to cancel and refund any teams in any specific country / region where there are not enough teams taking part to make a tournament viable. 

9. Governing Law

9.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England & Wales.

10. Golden Ticket Prize Draw

10.1 Overview
10.1.1 The Organiser will run a promotional prize draw (the “Golden Ticket Prize Draw”) in connection with the Tournament.
10.1.2 The Golden Ticket Prize Draw offers eligible Teams the opportunity to win direct entry into a Regional Final without progressing through qualifying matchplay rounds.

10.2 Eligibility
10.2.1 Entry into the Golden Ticket Prize Draw is open to all Teams who complete a valid Tournament entry in accordance with these Terms.
10.2.2 To be eligible, the applicable entry fee must be paid in full before 23:59 on March 31st 2026.
10.2.3 Entries that are incomplete, unpaid, or submitted after this deadline will not be eligible.
10.2.4 The Organiser reserves the right to exclude any Team from the Golden Ticket Prize Draw at its discretion, including where there has been a breach of these Terms.

10.3 Entry Mechanism
10.3.1 Eligible Teams will be automatically entered into the Golden Ticket Prize Draw upon successful payment of the Tournament entry fee.
10.3.2 Each Team entry constitutes one (1) entry into the Golden Ticket Prize Draw.
10.3.3 No additional purchase or action is required beyond completing Tournament entry.

10.4 The Prize
10.4.1 A total of four (4) Golden Tickets will be awarded.
10.4.2 Each Golden Ticket grants the winning Team:

  • Direct qualification to a designated Regional Final; and
  • The right to participate in that Regional Final without completing qualifying matchplay rounds.

10.4.3 The prize:

  • Is non-transferable;
  • Has no cash alternative; and
  • Covers participation in the Regional Final only.

10.4.4 Unless explicitly stated otherwise, the prize does not include travel, accommodation, subsistence, equipment, or any other costs, all of which remain the responsibility of the Team in accordance with Clause 3.

10.5 Allocation of Regional Finals
10.5.1 Golden Ticket winners may be allocated to a specific Regional Final at the Organiser’s discretion.
10.5.2 Allocation may be based on geography, availability, or operational considerations.
10.5.3 Requests for changes may be considered but are not guaranteed.

10.6 Winner Selection
10.6.1 Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries.
10.6.2 The draw will take place within a reasonable period following the entry deadline.
10.6.3 The Organiser’s decision in relation to the draw and selection of winners shall be final.

10.7 Winner Notification
10.7.1 Winning Teams will be contacted using the contact details provided at registration.
10.7.2 If a winning Team does not respond within a reasonable timeframe specified by the Organiser, the Organiser reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select an alternative winner.

10.8 Participation Requirements
10.8.1 Winning Teams must be available to attend and participate in their allocated Regional Final.
10.8.2 Failure to attend may result in forfeiture of the prize.
10.8.3 Golden Ticket winners may still participate in qualifying matchplay rounds if they choose to do so, but this does not affect their automatic qualification.

10.9 Interaction with Entry Fees and Refunds
10.9.1 Entry into the Golden Ticket Prize Draw is included as a promotional benefit of Tournament entry.
10.9.2 In line with Clause 5, entry fees remain non-refundable and no refunds will be issued in relation to participation in the Golden Ticket Prize Draw.

10.10 General
10.10.1 The Organiser reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw the Golden Ticket Prize Draw at any time in accordance with Clause 8.
10.10.2 The Golden Ticket Prize Draw forms part of the Tournament and these Terms apply in full.
10.10.3 By entering the Tournament, Participants agree to be bound by this Clause 10.
