What is the CGC Club Championship?

The Creator Golf Club (CGC) is a creator-led, fan-fuelled golf collective of YOU & your favourite creators. Built to bring fans closer to the creators they love than ever before, through unforgettable, real-world experiences.

Our flagship event, The Club Championships, reimagines what an amateur golf competition can be.

The Creator Golf Club Championship (CGCC) is a ground-breaking global amateur tournament, hosted by the biggest golf creators on the planet. Designed from the ground up for everyday golfers, this is your chance to compete, connect, and experience golf on a scale never seen before.

What’s included in the team ticket price?

This secures your limited spot in the Creator Golf Club Championship. The £150 entry fee is a one-time cost for your team of two, with the option to include two reserve players if desired.

Can I buy a single ticket if I don’t have a partner?

No, individual tickets are not available. The only option is the team ticket, and you must have a partner registered on your team before the Club Championship begins on April 27.

When do I have to add my playing partner if I’ve already purchased my team ticket but haven’t found a teammate yet?

You must register your playing partner before the tournament begins on April 27. Your team spot will be held until then, but you cannot compete without a confirmed partner.

Do I need to add reserve players to my team?

No, reserve players are optional. If you choose to add one (or two), they must be registered before the Club Championship begins on April 27, the same as your main playing partner.

When will I receive my Round 1 matchup?

Round 1 matchups will be released shortly before April 27 and will be available in the CGC tournament portal.

What happens if teams can’t agree on a match date within the round timeframe?

If both teams make reasonable efforts but cannot agree on a date within the round deadline, the organiser will conduct a coin toss to determine the winner.

Where and when are the Regional events held?

Regional Finals will take place across the UK in October. Winning teams from the UK, Ireland, and Europe are invited, with £250 travel support for Irish and European teams. Dates and locations can be found on our Venues page

How and when will I get the chance to meet the participating creators?

You may be matched against a creator in your first round or later stages of the tournament. Creators will also attend the Regional Finals and the Grand Final.

Handicap policy

How do you keep the competition fair?

We take fairness seriously. Very seriously!

Our goal is to make the tournament inclusive and fair to everyone, and to do this we’ve adopted the World Handicap System as the foundation for the tournament. We’ve also introduced additional measures to reward players with detailed handicap history, while encouraging newer players to develop their handicap history as quickly as possible.

Do I need an official handicap to join the Creator Golf Club?

You don’t need a WHS handicap to purchase a team ticket. However, your WHS-verified handicap must be in place before the tournament begins on April 27.

Are VPAR or other scoring app handicaps accepted?

Only a valid WHS Handicap Index issued by a recognised golf association or authorised provider in your country is accepted.

How do I obtain an official handicap before the tournament?

To get a WHS Handicap Index, register with your country’s recognised golf association and post at least 54 acceptable holes before your first official index is established. Relevant associations include:

England: England Golf / iGolf
Scotland: Scottish Golf / OpenPlay
Ireland: Golf Ireland / iGolf
Wales: Wales Golf / Flexi Club
Netherlands: Netherlands Golf Federation / Regulation 54 Handicap
Belgium: Royal Belgian Golf Federation
USA: USGA / GHIN
Canada: Golf Canada
Australia: Golf Australia / CONNECT‍
United Arab Emirates:Emirates Golf Federation / GHIN

What is the deadline to buy tickets?

Team tickets must be purchased by April 17. In some regions outside the UK, Ireland, and Europe, spots are limited, so secure your entry early.

Format

How does the tournament work?

You’ll enter as a pair (you and a playing partner) and compete through a series of exciting stages:

Local Matchplay Qualifiers: Compete against teams in your area to kick off the season.
Regional Finals (UK & Europe only): Winners of each local group advance to creator-attended Regional Finals, playing Doubles Stableford format at top clubs. Champions secure a spot in the Grand Final.
Grand Final: The best teams from the entire tournament compete alongside creators for a huge prize and the chance to be the first-ever Creator Golf Club Champions.

Note: Teams outside the UK & Europe will play an additional matchplay round (7 matches total) to qualify for the Grand Final.

What are the match dates?

All teams start in the Winner Bracket, with losing teams moving to the 2nd Chance Bracket.

Winner Bracket:

Round 1: 27 April – 24 May
Round 2: 25 May – 21 June
Round 3: 22 June – 19 July
Round 4: 20 July – 16 August
Round 5: 17 August – 6 September
Round 6: 7 September – 27 September

2nd Chance Bracket:

Round 1: 25 May – 21 June
Round 2: 22 June – 19 July
Round 3: 20 July – 16 August
Round 4: 17 August – 6 September
Round 5: 7 September – 27 September

Rest of World (RoW) Teams:

Round 6: 28 September – 20 October (winner advances to Grand Final)

Regional Finals (UK & Europe only): October – dates and locations to be announced soon‍‍

Grand Final: November – dates and location to be announced soon

What is the Grand Final?

The Grand Final is the pinnacle of the Creator Golf Club Championship, featuring:

Multiple rounds of championship golf at a world-renowned destination course
Scheduled for late 2026 (exact dates in November and venue to be announced soon)
Playing alongside and in front of your favourite creators, who will cheer, set challenges, compete, and create content around the event
Top-performing teams can expect a special surprise, with the experience shared across creators’ social channels

Are green fees included in the ticket price, and who is responsible for paying them?

No. Green fees are not included in the team ticket.

During the Matchplay Phase, each team is responsible for covering its own green fees and any associated costs. Where possible, host clubs are encouraged to offer guest or discounted rates to the away team. If no discount is available, the away team must pay the standard visitor rate set by the club. We encourage all teams to be as accommodating as possible when organising matches.

Is the Club Championship 2026 a single-day or weekend tournament?

No. The Club Championship 2026 is a multi-round tournament played locally over several months.

How are Home and Away teams determined?

In Round 1, Home teams are assigned randomly.

From Round 2 onward, Home status is awarded to the team whose previous win is confirmed first in the Creator Golf Club digital scorecard (based on the timestamp).

Example: If two teams win in Round 2 and are set to play in Round 3, the team whose result was recorded first will be designated as the Home team in Round 3.

Participation

Who can enter?

Anyone aged 16 or over with a verifiable WHS Handicap Index in place by 27 April 2026. Players aged 16–17 must compete with a parent or guardian at all times.

Is my country and region included?

Team entries are accepted from the following countries and regions:

United Kingdom
Ireland
Australia (Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane)
Belgium
Canada (Toronto)
Netherlands
United Arab Emirates (Dubai, Abu Dhabi)
United States (New York City)

If you are outside these areas and do not live within a 90-minute drive of a listed location, please do not purchase a ticket, as we cannot accommodate you in this year’s tournament.

Do I need to belong to a golf club to join the Creator Golf Club and compete in the Club Championship 2026?

No. You don’t need to belong to a golf club to join. Players from both private and public courses are welcome, but a WHS handicap is required to compete.

What if I live more than a 90-minute drive from a tournament location but still want to join?

If you live more than a 90-minute drive from your assigned tournament location, you can still compete, but you must forfeit Home team rights and play all local Matchplay Phase matches as the Away team.
